The Yorkville School District has a proud history of academic accomplishments within a framework of fiscal responsibility to the taxpayers of the District. That focus has led to efficient operations, diligent maintenance, and prudent upgrades to the Yorkville School over decades. However, with significant use, the passage of time and changing needs in the District, a comprehensive assessment of our building and grounds became important to address the maintenance and educational needs of the Yorkville School.
In October and November of 2022, over 50 members of our Board of Education, Administration, Staff and Teachers participated in the facility assessment process. Facilitated by Nexus Solutions, a firm specializing in assessing school facilities, our team produced a comprehensive report. The report was presented to the Board of Education on November 15, 2022 and the Board is utilizing the information to make informed decisions for the future of the Yorkville School.
